Security awareness test
This was a test, not a real login ๐
The email you clicked was sent by the MGL team as an internal security-awareness test. There was
no real attack, and none of the data you typed was saved โ the form sent nothing to any server.
How you could have spotted it:
- The sender address and the link domain โ not mygaminglicense.com, but a lookalike.
Always check the domain before entering a password.
- Urgency and threats ("access will be suspended", "by end of day") โ a classic pressure tactic.
- A request to sign in via a link in the email. Reach your accounts through a bookmark or by
typing the address yourself, not through a link in a message.
- A password prompt on a page opened from an email. Legitimate services don't do this.
Nothing bad happened. Whenever you're unsure about an email, forward it to the MGL team
and don't click any links. Thanks for helping us stay safer.
